Idea Board: Sports and Outdoors
This idea board was created at the Hammond Neighbourhood Party. (click to enlarge)
Ideas:
- Utilize existing sports areas more:
- tennis courts
- basketball court
- Cycling, hiking and walking trails please!
- Have a Hammond Days celebration and tie it to various sports events
- Publicize schedule of baseball games and events at Hammond Stadium
- Dodge Ball
- Compile list of places with local walking / running groups (ie, The Running Room) (jen sez: see if they want to partner in events)
- Capture the Flag
- Outdoor movie showings
- midnight swims at the Hammond Pool!
- Water safety workshop in the pool
- Street hockey!
